Taskion License Agreement – OXLAB

1. Personal and Non‑Commercial Use

You may use the Software free of charge for personal, home, educational, or internal non‑commercial purposes. You may modify the Software for your own needs, provided you comply with this Agreement.

2. Commercial Use

Commercial use of the Software is permitted and free of charge. Commercial use includes:

• using the Software within a company or organization,
• using the Software in business activities,
• deploying the Software for clients (e.g., on their server),
• integrating the Software into internal systems or workflows,
• modifying the Software for business or project needs.

If the Software provides value in a commercial environment, you are encouraged to provide voluntary financial support to help sustain the project.

3. Attribution

Attribution to OXLAB must be preserved in:

• the source code,
• documentation,
• the “About” section or equivalent,
• any redistributed versions of the Software.

Removing or obscuring OXLAB attribution is prohibited.

4. Redistribution

Redistribution of the Software (modified or unmodified) is permitted only if:

• this License Agreement is included,
• OLXAB attribution is preserved,
• the Software is not sold as a standalone product,
• the UID system remains intact and functional.

5. UID System

The Software includes a UID system used for installation tracking and project sustainability.

The following actions are prohibited:

• removing the UID system,
• bypassing or disabling UID validation,
• generating fake UIDs,
• distributing versions of the Software without the UID system.

6. Prohibition of Selling the Software as a Product

It is not permitted to:

• sell Taskion as a standalone product,
• rebrand Taskion and sell it as your own software,
• offer Taskion as a paid service (SaaS),
• sell Taskion on marketplaces (e.g., CodeCanyon, ThemeForest).

This restriction does not apply to commercial use within a company or for clients — such use is permitted under Section 2.

7. Prohibition of Offering Taskion as SaaS

It is not permitted to:

• host Taskion as a public online service,
• allow user registration into a hosted instance of Taskion,
• charge fees for access to a hosted instance of Taskion,
• present Taskion as your own cloud product.

Taskion is intended as self‑hosted software, operated by the user on their own server or infrastructure.

8. Allowed Use – Examples

Examples of permitted use:

• using Taskion internally within a company,
• deploying Taskion for a client on their server,
• modifying Taskion for internal team or project needs,
• integrating Taskion into company systems,
• using Taskion commercially free of charge while preserving this license and attribution.

9. Prohibited Use – Examples

Examples of prohibited use:

• “Download Taskion, rename it, and sell it as your own product.”
• “Host Taskion online and sell access as a SaaS service.”
• “Sell Taskion as a template or package on marketplaces.”
• “Distribute Taskion without the UID system or without OXLAB attribution.”

10. Warranty Disclaimer

The Software is provided “as is”, without any express or implied warranties. OXLAB is not liable for:

• damages resulting from the use or inability to use the Software,
• loss of data,
• business interruption,
• any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

11. Termination

This Agreement terminates automatically if you violate any of its terms. Upon termination, you must stop using and distributing the Software.
